I made this embroidered tree for my dad for father's day. I had a hard time thinking of what I could make him. I decided to embroider a tree, later I found this Chinese proverb and thought it was perfect. It took me a while to make. I later put it in a 5"x7" wood frame. It reminds me of these antique framed quotes that my mom used to collect. They would saying something like "Merry Christmas from Emily 1875."I guess in a hundred years or so it will be one of those antiques pictures. Perhaps I should date it? I'm happy with how it came out and I think my dad will be happy as well.
